The petition is for the following reliefs:
"a. The Petition of the Petitioner may kindly be accepted and impugned order i.e. Order dated 16.03.2026 passed by Ld. Divisional Commissioner-Cum Appellate Tribunal under the Senior Citizen Act, 2007 in Appeal No.1338/2026 in case tilted as Jyoti V /s Vijay Rani & Anr. may kindly be set-aside;
b. The cost of the petition may kindly be awarded to the Petitioner;" 2.
The facts of the case would indicate an application seeking eviction of the respondents herein - who are daughter-in-law and son of the petitioner respectively, was filed by the petitioner before the District Magistrate under The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. The District Magistrate, thereafter, passed the order of eviction dated 31.01.2026. The said order was challenged by respondent no.1 herein i.e. the daughter-in-law, before the Divisional Commissioner. The petitioner seems to be aggrieved by the order dated 16.03.2026 passed by the Divisional Commissioner granting stay in the matter. 3.
The Court, thus, finds that the matter is pending before the Divisional Commissioner for its adjudication. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the next date of hearing before the Divisional Commissioner is 07.08.2026.

Accordingly, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the Divisional Commissioner, she shall be at liberty to file application for vacation of the said order before the Divisional Commissioner. If the petitioner does so, let the application be considered in accordance with law with due expedition.

Liberty is also granted to the petitioner to request for prepone of the date of hearing. If the petitioner does so, let the same also be considered by the Divisional Commissioner appropriately.

With the aforesaid directions, the petition stands disposed of. 7.
