The petition impugns the transfer order dated 14th February, 2019 of the petitioner from SHQ, Delhi, to Basar, Arunachal Pradesh and seeks a mandamus to the respondents Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) to not transfer the petitioner from his present place of posting, i.e. SHQ, Delhi, till April, 2021.; in the alternative, transfer of the petitioner to a place W.P. (C) 4776/2020 Page 1 of 2

having adequate medical facilities where the mother of the petitioner can be treated, is sought.

We have fully heard the counsel for the petitioner. 5.

After full arguments, the counsel for the petitioner withdraws the petition and states that the writ petition may be treated as another representation on compassionate grounds, of the petitioner, to the respondents and assures that the petitioner will not use the pendency of the said representation as an excuse, to not abide by the relieving order, if any, of the petitioner from the place of the present posting and will abide by the transfer order.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
