After making some submissions, Mr. Jatan Singh, Senior Counsel for Petitioners, states that since the matter is presently under investigation, he would like to withdraw the present petition with liberty to take recourse to appropriate remedies, subject to the outcome of the investigation. He, however, submits that since the investigation has been pending for the last three and a half years, a direction should be given to expedite the conclusion of investigation and filing of a final report. 2.

the voice recordings relied upon by the Complainant, which are being denied by Petitioner, have been sent for forensic analysis and the results whereof are awaited.

In light of the above, following directions are issued: 3.1 Leave and liberty, as prayed for, are granted. 3.2 The concerned DCP is directed to immediately expedite the FSL report by directly corresponding with the laboratory. 3.3 On the receipt of the FSL report, the IO shall proceed to file the final report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, without any further delay.
3.4 The Court expects that investigation shall be concluded within four months from today.

With the above directions, reserving all rights and contentions of the parties, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
