The present writ petition seeks a direction upon Municipal Corporation of Delhi ["MCD"] to remove certain grill gates, constructed by the Resident Welfare Associations ["RWAs"] in Pocket F-18 and F19, Sector 8, Rohini, Delhi. MCD has filed a status report dated 06.05.2024, in which it is stated that the gates have been removed by the W.P.(C) 7451/2023 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. concerned RWAs, with the assistance of MCD staff on 28.02.2024. 2.

In view of the above, the relief sought in this petition has been satisfied.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is apprehensive that the RWAs may seek to re-install the gates. Learned counsel for the MCD states that MCD will maintain necessary vigil, and the petitioner may contact the Executive Engineer of the area in question, in the event of any reinstallation of the gates. 4.
