The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, seeking interim bail for a period of two months from the date of his release in FIR No. 422/2018, under Sections 302/201/120-B/34 of the IPC, registered with PS Pandav Nagar, District East.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's mother is keeping unwell and she is also in a state of depression. He submits that it is necessary that the petitioner be released on interim bail in order to attend to his mother.

The status report has been filed which indicates that the petitioner's parents reside together along with their three daughters. Two of the daughters are aged 22 years and 24 years and one of the daughters is a minor. In addition, the real brother of the petitioner also resides in a house which is about fifty metres away from their residence. The status report Signed By:DUSHYANT RAWAL Location:

further indicates that the petitioner's mother had visited Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, Khichripur, Delhi and was prescribed certain medicines. She is not suffering any serious ailment that requires any hospitalization. 4.

Considering that there are sufficient number of persons to attend to the petitioner's mother, this Court does not consider it apposite to release the petitioner on interim bail on the ground as urged by the petitioner. 5.

The petition is, accordingly, dismissed.

It is clarified that nothing stated in this order shall preclude the petitioner from filing an application for regular bail. Needless to state that if any such application is filed, the same shall be considered on its own merits uninfluenced by any observations made in this order.
