The present petition invokes the contempt jurisdiction of this Court alleging wilful disobedience of order dated 27th August, 2025 passed in W.P.(C) 8017/2023, whereby the Respondent School was directed to place on record the minutes of the Departmental Promotion Committee in question.

Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the aforesaid directions have not been complied with and, therefore, the Respondents are liable to be proceeded against for contempt of this Court. 3.

In the opinion of this Court, non-compliance with such a direction, in the facts of the present case, ipso facto would not amount to "wilful disobedience" of the order of this Court warranting invocation of contempt jurisdiction. In any event, in the absence of the DPC minutes being placed The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. on record, appropriate direction can always be issued in the writ petition when the same is taken up for hearing on 21st May, 2026. 3.

In light of the foregoing, this Court finds no ground to invoke its contempt jurisdiction.
