The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to install a new electricity connection in the name of the petitioner as a sole proprietor and owner of M/s National Timbers at premises bearing No. 1/4998, Timber Market, Shahdara, Delhi. 2.

Mr. Sharique Hussain, counsel appearing on behalf of respondent on advance notice, submits that there was an electricity connection in the name of Mr. Vinesh Jain, son of the petitioner, which has been disconnected upon his request. A subsequent electricity connection has been applied for by one Mr. Shubham Jain, who is the grandson of the petitioner, and the same has not been granted on account of property disputes. There is no electricity connection which has been applied for by the petitioner herein. 3.

liberty to the petitioner to apply for a fresh electricity connection in his own name, which will be considered by the respondent in accordance with law. 4.
