By virtue of the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs:- "I.

Issue a writ of certiorari or any other writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari thereby declaring the Communication Letter dated 07.07.2025 to be arbitrary and illegal and thus setting aside the same.

II.

Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus thereby directing the respondent to decide the representation dated 29.04.2023 (Annexure P2) made by the petitioner to the respondent in a time framed manner preferably within 4 (four) weeks' time or whatever time deemed fit by this hon'ble court by way of passing a detailed speaking order.

respondent no. 1 to grant sanction u/s 17A as well as section 19 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 w.r.t. complaint dated 11.02.2023 made to the SHO, Connaught Place, New Delhi.

Pass any such directions or order that this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the above-mentioned case."

Considering the nature of the proceedings as also the aspect of maintainability of this petition in the present form, the petitioner seeks to withdraw the same with liberty to take appropriate steps, including filing afresh, in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the present petition, alongwith the pending application, is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
