% 01.09.2020 Mr. Rahul Mehra, learned Senior Standing Counsel (Criminal) for the State (Govt. of NCT of Delhi)/respondent No. 1 submits that vidé communication dated 31.08.2020 the Office of the Director of Prosecution (DoP) has informed him as follows : "
* * * * * After examination, this Directorate as well as the Law Department, GNCT of Delhi is of the opinion that the cases are not fit to be challenged by way of revision petition in the Ld. Sessions Courts. Copy of complete reports, having the opinion/ observation of Law Department as well as of this Directorate in the aforesaid matters is enclosed herewith for your kind perusal and ready reference.

Accordingly, Mr. Mehra submits that the State has decided not to challenge the orders made by the learned Metropolitan Magistrates declining cognizance of the offences alleged in the charge sheets filed; and accordingly, the matter is closed as far as the State is concerned. Mr. Mehra has forwarded by e-mail a compilation comprising the aforesaid communication as received from the DoP along with its enclosures. Let the compilation be filed on record. 3.
Mr. Anurag Ahluwalia, learned CGSC appearing for the Union of India in Crl. M.C. No. 1622/2020 and Mr. Ajay Digpaul, learned CGSC appearing for the Union of India in Crl. M.C. No. 1626/2020 submit, that as recorded in status report filed on 11.08.2020 in Crl. M.C. No. 1622/2020 and in status report filed on 10.08.2020 in Crl.
M.C. No. 1626/2020, upon closure of the criminal proceedings, the Look-Out Circulars (LOCs) opened against the petitioners have also been 'deleted'. Attention in this regard is drawn to para 4 of the said status reports, both of which state that the LOCs have " .... been deleted at the behest of the originator, i.e. Deputy Commissioner of Police, North District. .... "

Since no challenge is proposed to the order of the learned Magistrates and the LOCs have been closed, Ms. Ashima Mandla and Ms. Mandakini Singh, learned counsel for the petitioners submit that nothing further survives in the petitions, which they would therefore wish to withdraw.

Accordingly, these petitions are dismissed as withdrawn. 6.
