Heard the Petitioner-in-Person and learned Counsel for Respondent No. 1 / Government of NCT of Delhi, Respondent No. 2 / Delhi Development Authority, Respondent No. 3 / Delhi Police, Respondent No. 4 / Municipal Corporation of Delhi and Respondent No. 5 / Union of India. 2.

This Public Interest Litigation Petition has been filed with the prayer for removal of illegal encroachments on the double-lane Bawana Road. The photographs enclosed with the Petition depicts certain bottleneck areas. 3.

Having regard to the nature of relief sought in this Petition, we direct that the entire Petition shall be considered by an appropriate authority of the Public Works Department of the State Government as also by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi as a representation of the Petition which shall be decided and appropriate action which may be warranted under law shall also be taken by the authority / authorities concerned with expedition. 4.

We direct that whatever necessary actions are required to be taken by the authorities, the same shall be taken in accordance with law within a period of three months from today.

We make it clear that any inaction or non-compliance of the terms of this order shall amount to Contempt of Court. 6.
