The present proceedings are instituted under Section 482 Cr.P.C. on behalf of the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No. 0271/2017 registered under Sections 308/452/506/34 IPC at P.S. Baba Haridas Nagar, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. 2.

As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, the petitioners entered the house of the complainant and gave beatings to the victims with a brick as a result of which injuries were sustained.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though in the complaint, four persons were arrayed as accused, however one of them namely, Sunil S/o Suresh has since expired and proceedings qua him stands abated by the Trial Court vide order dated 06.10.2023. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Mr. Sabharwal, learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that the petitioners are the only accused persons and respondent Nos.2 to 4 are the complainants/victims in the present case. He further submits that charge-sheet has already been filed and charges has been framed. 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners and respondent No. 2 are known to each other being neighbours and present FIR was registered due to some misunderstanding and with the intervention of family members and friends, parties have amicably settled their disputes vide Compromise Deed dated 30.10.2023, a copy of which has been placed on record.

It is informed that cross FIR No. 270/2017 registered under Sections 308/452/34 at P.S. Baba Haridas Nagar has already been quashed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 16.04.2024 passed in CRL.M.C. 2968/2024.

The petitioners and respondent Nos.2 to 4, who are present in Court, have been identified by their respective counsel as well as the I.O./SI Saneh, P.S. BHD Nagar, Delhi. Petitioners have shown remorse for their conduct and undertake not to repeat the same in future. 8.

Respondent Nos. 2 to 4 state that they have entered into the settlement with the petitioners out of their own free will, volition and without any coercion. They further state that they have no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and considering that no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed. 11.

With the above directions, the petition is disposed of alongwith miscellaneous application.
