Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ('Cr.P.C.') has been preferred on behalf of the petitioners for quashing of FIR No. 0175/2021, under Sections 420/120B/188 IPC and Section 3/4 Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897, registered at P.S.: Begumpur and proceedings emanating therefrom. Section 3/7 Essential Commodities Act is stated to have been subsequently invoked.

Issue notice. Learned APP for the State and learned counsel for respondent No.2 appear on advance notice and accept notice. 3.

After partly making submissions, learned counsel for the petitioners does not press the petition but prays that State may be directed to file the charge-sheet/final report in a time bound manner, since the FIR was registered way back in the year 2021.

Learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that charge-sheet/ final report shall be filed within a period of four weeks. 5.

Taking the statement of learned counsel for the petitioner on record, petition is accordingly disposed of without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case. Respondent/State is further directed to file the final report/charge-sheet, in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of passing of this order.
