The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, seeking interim bail on the ground that his father is ill and he is required to assist his father in seeking medical treatment.

The status report indicates that the petitioner has a sister and the mother, who are fully capable of looking after the petitioner's father. It is also seen that the petitioner's father is not an elderly person. According to the petitioner, he is aged about 50 years. His medical documents indicate his age as 42 years. This Court has also perused the medical documents and it does not appear that petitioner's father is suffering from any serious ailment requiring any hospitalization.

In view of the above, this Court does not consider it apposite to allow the present petition.
