O R D E R

The matter has been placed before us in the National Lok Adalat with the consent of parties, who are present through their counsel. 2.

The parties have settled the dispute. The appellant/Future Generali India Insurance Company Limited ('the appellant/insurance company', for short) had sought reduction in the compensation awarded by the Tribunal. The parties have agreed to reduce the amount by Rs.75,000/- as a lump sum. 3.

It is informed that the appellant/insurance company has deposited the entire Award amount of Rs.4,67,120.40/- along with up to date interest with the Tribunal. The Tribunal is directed to refund a lump sum amount of Rs.75,000/-to the authorised agent of the appellant/insurance company subject to proof of identity.

The Tribunal is directed to release the balance sum of Rs.3,92,120.40 alongwith complete interest lying deposited with it in favour of respondent/claimant Kishan Chand Khatreja in terms of the Award on production of documents of identification.

The statutory amount of Rs. 25,000/- along with interest, if any, shall be returned to the appellant/insurance company by the Registrar General of this Court.

The matter is accordingly settled.

This Award be placed on the record of the case. 8.

The file be consigned.
