Petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as 'B.N.S.S.')/under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (hereinafter referred to as 'Cr.PC') has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner, Amit Alag for quashing of FIR No. 821/2021 dated 08.09.2021 under Section 354(B) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereinafter referred to as 'IPC') registered at Police Station Binda Pur, Delhi and all the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom. 4.

On advance Notice, learned APP has appeared and accepts the Noteice on behalf of the State.

The parties are present in person and have been identified by their learned counsel and the Investigating Officer concerned. The parties submit that they were living in the same building and some neighbourhood dispute arose between them.

A cross-FIR No. 817/2021 under Section 323/452/506/34 IPC was also registered at Police Station Bindapur, Delhi against the husband and brother of the Respondent, who has already been quashed. 8.

It is submitted that the Petitioner has now shifted out and the matter has been amicably settled between the parties vide Compromise Deed on 17.03.2025. The Statement of the parties have already been recorded before the learned Joint Registrar. They have entered into the Settlement voluntarily and without any fear and coercion and undertake to remain bound by the terms of the said Settlement.

Considering the nature of the allegations and that they have settled the matter, the FIR No. 821/2021 under Section 354(B) IPC registered at Police Station Bindapur, Delhi and all the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, subject to deposit of cost of Rs.10,000/- by the Petitioner with the Delhi High Court Advocates' Welfare Trust, within 7 days failing which the matter be put up before the learned Registrar General for the recovery of the said cost.

The Petition is disposed of accordingly.
