O R D E R

% 27.01.2016 Zoya @ Kajal (petitioner no. 1), Mohd. Azruddin (petitioner no. 2) and Gopal Krishan (respondent no. 2) are present in Court today and I have spoken to them in chamber.

Mr. Gopal Krishan, father of Zoya @ Kajal states that a missing person report was registered with Police Station- Gandhi Nagar, Delhi on account of the circumstance that Zoya @ Kajal left her parental home without intimation. Mr. Gopal Krishan further states that since Zoya @ Kajal, who is his daughter, is an adult and has married Mohd. Azruddin of her own free will and desire, he is not averse to the said union and shall in fact, make every endeavour to establish cordial relations with his son-in-law- Mohd. Azruddin as well as his family members.

Issue notice.

Mr. Rajesh Mahajan, learned ASC (Crl.) appearing on behalf of the official respondent accepts notice. Mr. Mahajan states that in view of the

apprehension expressed on behalf of Zoya @ Kajal and Mohd. Azruddin, the petitioners herein, the police shall afford adequate protection to the petitioners. The beat constable of the concerned area shall also be sensitized in this behalf. The telephone number of the SHO of the concerned police station as well as the beat constable shall be provided to the petitioners in order to enable them to contact the former in the event of any threat or apprehension. Ordered accordingly.

In view of the foregoing and in view of the statement of Mr. Gopal Krishan, the respondent no. 2 herein, the writ petition is allowed. With the above said directions, the writ petition is disposed of. A copy of this order be given dasti under signatures of Court Master to counsel for the parties.
