There was no appearance on behalf of the Petitioners on 24th July, 2025, 18th August, 2025, and 22nd September, 2025. The position remains the same even today.

Although the petition is premised on an alleged compromise between the Petitioner and Respondent No. 2, since none of the parties are appearing, it appears that the compromise has not fructified. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed.

As the Court has not examined the terms of the compromise or whether such a compromise could form the basis for quashing of the FIR, it is clarified that, in the event there is a genuine compromise between the parties, they shall be at liberty to re-apply before the Court. Any such petition, if filed, shall be considered on its own merits.
