By way of the present petition, the petitioners are seeking quashing of FIR bearing no. 176/2021, registered at Police Station Roop Nagar, Delhi for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 323/341/354/509/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter 'IPC') along with consequential proceedings arising therefrom. 5.

Issue notice. Mr. Yudhvir Singh Chauhan, learned APP accepts notice appearing on behalf of the State.

Brief facts of the case are that due to some misunderstanding a quarrel took place between the petitioners and the respondent no. 2, and thereafter, a complaint had lodged by respondent no. 2 which resulted into the present FIR bearing No. 176/2021, registered at Police Station, Roop Nagar, Delhi The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Thereafter, with the intervention of well wishers and relatives, both the parties have resolved and settled all their disputes with each other. 7.

It is stated by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners that there is no previous involvement of the petitioners in any other case and the same has not been opposed by the learned APP appearing on behalf of the State and Investigation Officer (IO) concerned. 8.

The concerned Registrar (Judicial) has already recorded the statements of the parties on 21.04.2025 regarding the agreement entered, voluntarily between the parties and vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 24.02.2025.

Considering the same, the parties are present in person before this Court and have been identified by their counsels and Investigating Officer (IO) concerned.

The complainant who is present before this Court states that she has no objection, if the present FIR is quashed.

In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion, this Court is of the opinion that no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. 12.

Accordingly, the FIR bearing no. 176/2021, registered at Police Station Roop Nagar, Delhi for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 323/341/354/509/34 of IPC and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed subject to petitioners depositing a sum of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Rs. 5,000/- each to "Advocates' Welfare Fund, Tis Hazari Court" within a period of 07 days from date.

Let the copy of the receipts be also filed with the Registry to show compliance of the order and also provide the receipt to the IO concerned. 14.

In view of above, the present petition stands disposed of. 15.
