The present writ petition has been filed for restraining the respondent no.1/MCD from taking coercive action against the property of the petitioner bearing House No. W- 12, House No. 47-A, Sainik Farm, New Delhi - 110062, which is fixed for 14th May, 2026.

Counsel appearing on advance notice on behalf of the respondent no.1/MCD submits that the subject property has already been demolished on multiple dates and the next demolition action is fixed for 14th May, 2026. He submits that since the said property is located in Sainik Farms, no construction can be carried out in the said area, hence, no notice is required W.P.(C) 6549/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. to be given to the property owner and no demolition order is required to be passed.

In view of the aforesaid statement, the present writ petition is disposed of while granting liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate remedies that may be available in law.

For a period of two (2) weeks, no coercive action shall be taken against the property of the petitioner in order for the petitioner to avail available remedies in law.

Pending applications also stand disposed of.
