The respondent has filed the present application in the above captioned appeal which was disposed of by an order dated 09.05.2025. 2.

The appellant had deposited the decretal amount with the Registry of this Court pursuant to an order dated 23.04.2024 granting an ad interim stay on the impugned judgment subject to the appellant depositing the decretal amount. The above captioned appeal was dismissed on the ground of delay. 3.

The amount deposited by the appellant with the Registry of this Court cannot be disbursed to the respondent in these proceedings. However, we clarify that in the event the respondent files any proceedings for execution of their decree, the disbursal of the amount deposited in this Court would abide by the decision rendered by the executing Court. 4.
