The present petition under Sections 2/11/12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 seeks following prayers:- "a) Allow the present Petition, passing contempt orders qua Respondent under Section 11 section 2 and section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, for wilful and contumacious disobedience of this Hon'ble Court's order dated 27/01/2017, No. 15362/2016 in O.M.P.(I) (Comm.) 306/2016, failing to file and keeping the Bank Guarantee alive/renewed during the pendency of OMP (Comm) 302 of 2016, 305 of 2016 and OMP (Comm) 308 of 2016 b) Pass orders in form of highest punishment and penalty qua Respondents, having failed to adhere to the directions of this Hon'ble Court's order dated 27/01/2017, IA No. 15362/2016 in O.M.P.(I) (Comm,) 356/2016;

c) Pass orders in form of directing the respondents to fulfil the undertaking given to this Hon'ble Court by filing the bank guarantee of differential amount in favour of petitioner as on date for Rs. 93,87,351- ;

Petitioner, in view of the facts and circumstances of the case." 3.

During the pendency of the present petition, respondents have renewed the bank guarantees in terms of orders dated 27.10.2016 and 27.01.2017. It is further pointed out that vide order dated 08.07.2025 in O.M.P.(Comm.) 302/2016, respondent(s) have been permitted to submit the amount of Rs.41 Lakhs by way of a Fixed Deposit Receipt (FDR) in the name of Worthy Registrar General of this Court in place of sum of Rs.41 Lakhs which was previously directed to be tendered by way of Bank Guarantee. 4.

Subsequent to the order dated 08.07.2025, respondents have filed the two (2) FDRs amounting to Rs. 41 lakhs.

In view of the above, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner does not wish to present the present petition. 6.

The present petition is disposed of as not pressed. 7.
