% 21.08.2020 Hearing has been conducted through Video Conferencing. This is an application under Section 439 Cr.PC for grant of Interim Bail for a period of 45 days.

Bail is sought on the ground that the Grandfather of the Applicant is on death bed and it is his last wish to see the Applicant. Notice was issued and the State was directed to file a Status Report. A detailed Status Report has been filed. Apart from the role ascribed to the Applicant for the offences alleged, it is also brought out that the IO had personally visited to verify the address at E-57/C-349, Sunder Nagari and to ascertain the health condition of the Applicant's Maternal Grandfather. It is stated that Maternal Grandfather of the Applicant is an elderly man, 76 years in age and physically weak but he is not suffering from any disease or serious ailment and is moving around. Applicant has two brothers who are currently residing on the above address with the Grandfather of the Applicant. Bail is opposed on the ground that the

allegations are serious and the ground for interim Bail is not made out. In view of the Status Report regarding the medical condition of the grandfather of the Applicant, no ground is made out to release the Applicant on Bail.

Application is accordingly dismissed.
