The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent-MCD to enforce the demolition order dated 9th January, 2026 qua unauthorized construction carried out by respondent no.4 at property bearing no.4779-4782, Gali No.45-46, Regharpura, Karol Bagh, New Delhi110005 ('subject property'). 2.
Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner resides in the basement and ground floor of the said property, whereas unauthorized construction has been carried out at the fourth and the fifth floor of the subject property by respondent no.4. 3.
Counsel for the respondent-MCD submits that an appeal has been filed by the respondents no.4 and 5 before the Appellate Tribunal MCD W.P.(C) 6636/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. ('ATMCD') in which interim stay has been granted. 4.
In view thereof, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing that the respondent-MCD shall take appropriate action based on the outcome of the proceeding before the ATMCD in the said appeal. 5.
If the petitioner has any grievance qua the demolition order in respect of the portion occupied by him, the petitioner would also have the liberty to approach the ATMCD.
