Present public interest petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondents to waive the chamber license fee, maintenance charges and others charges levied from the advocates who have been allotted chambers/cubicles at the Saket District Court for the period March 2020 to December 2021 i.e., the COVID-19 period.

Learned counsel for Respondent No. 2 states that the Saket Bar Association, a registered body has already filed a writ petition being W.P.(C) 5057/2024 seeking a similar relief. He states that the learned Single Judge of this Court has issued notice in the aforesaid matter returnable on 15th July, 2024.

In view of the pendency of the aforesaid writ petition, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present public interest litigation. Accordingly, the same along with application is dismissed.
