This is an application under Section 151 CPC filed by the petitioners seeking a direction to the respondents to permit them to join the ongoing training for appointment to the post of Constable (Driver) for which post they were selected but have not been appointed as their cases are required to be considered by the Standing Screening Committee. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition was disposed of on 23.04.2024 with directions to the respondents to ensure that the cases of the petitioners are put up before the Standing Screening Committee within eight weeks, however, till date no action has been taken by the respondents causing irreparable loss to the petitioners. 3.

sought in application, since learned counsel for the respondents appears on advance notice, we have put it to her as to why this Court's order has not been implemented till date. She submits that the Standing Screening Committee has been recently constituted and the petitioners' case will in accordance with the directions issued by this Court be put up shortly before the Committee. The said statement is taken on record and it is made clear that in case the respondents do not comply with the order issued on 23.04.2024 within the next four weeks, it will be open for the petitioners to seek legal recourse as permissible in law.
