The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR bearing No. 0879/2014, under Sections 420/406/34 of the IPC registered with P.S. Okhla Industrial Area, be quashed. 2.

The present petition is premised on a settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2. The petitioners are present in Court and are identified by their counsel. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and is identified by the Investigating Officer.

The said parties state that they have voluntarily entered into a Memorandum of Understanding on 03.05.2019. In terms of the said settlement, the petitioners had undertaken to pay a sum of ₹3,56,000/- to respondent no.2, as full and final settlement of his claims.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and states that he has no grievance against the petitioners. He further states that he has received the entire agreed consideration and has no further claims against the petitioners. The petitioners state that they also have no grievance against respondent no.2. The said parties jointly pray that the FIR in question be quashed. 5.

In view of the statements made by the petitioners and respondent no.2, the present petition is allowed.

The FIR bearing No. 0879/2014, under Sections 420/406/34 of the IPC registered with P.S. Okhla Industrial Area, and all proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.
