This petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers:

"It is, therefore respectfully prayed, that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to:

a) Issue a Writ in the nature of mandamus or such other appropriate writ or orders directing the Respondent No. 2 to release the NPS amount of the petitioner.

b) Pass any such further order/order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case." 2.

Mr. Syed Abdul Haseeb, learned CGSC appearing for the respondents on instructions submits that the petitioner has to approach the respondents and fill / sign certain documents to enable the respondents release the pension under the New Pension Scheme as per rules. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner shall go to the Office of 34 Bn. at Haldwani and sign relevant documents within one week from today.

Mr. Syed Abdul Haseeb states that the benefits shall be released as per his entitlement under the New Pension Scheme within two weeks thereafter as an outer limit. The submission is taken on record. 5.
