The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, seeking interim bail till 31.08.2020 on the ground that he is required to look after his family and there is no one to attend to them. It is further stated that the petitioner is suffering from Asthma.

Considering the grounds urged in the present petition, the petitioner was granted interim bail for a period of forty-five days by an order dated 13.05.2020 passed in BAIL APPLN. No. 850/2020. On completion of the Signed By:DUSHYANT RAWAL Location:

aforesaid period, the petitioner had surrendered before the concerned jail authorities.

Ms Dolly Sharma, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in terms of the clarification issued by the Full Bench of this Court on 13.07.2020 in Court on its Own Motion v. State & Ors.: W.P.(C) 3037/2020 , interim bail granted to the petitioner was liable to be extended. She submits that the petitioner cannot be placed at a disadvantageous position merely because he had complied with the order passed by this Court and surrendered in due time.

Concededly, all interim orders passed by this Court granting interim bail are liable to be extended till 31.08.2020, in terms of the order dated 13.07.2020, passed by the Full Bench of this Court in Court on its Own Motion (supra).

Considering the above, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition. The petitioner is, accordingly, directed to be released on interim bail till 31.08.2020, on the same terms and conditions as set out in the order dated 13.05.2020 passed in BAIL APPLN. 850/2020. This is also subject to the condition that the petitioner shall not contact the victim/complainant or her family members directly or indirectly. 8.

The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid directions. 9.
