The present application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No.27/2020, registered under Sections 33/58 of the Delhi Excise Act at Police Station Sarojini Nagar, New Delhi. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. He further submits that the petitioner has been implicated in this case only on the statement of the co-accused Rohit Sharma and he has nothing to do with the commission of alleged offence. He further submits that in pursuance of the directions of this Court, the petitioner has already joined the investigation and is further ready to join the same as and when directed to do so.

A Status Report has been filed by the State. Learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner as also the learned APP for the State and have perused the case records. 5.
Keeping in view the totality of the facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that in the event of his arrest, the petitioner be released on bail, on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned IO/SHO and subject to the following further conditions:
(i) The petitioner shall join the investigation as and directed to do so. (ii) The petitioner shall appear before the Trial Court as and when the charge-sheet is filed in the case.

The application stands disposed of.
