The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking that the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) be directed to expeditiously hear and dispose of the consumer complaint bearing CC No. 1779/2016. It is submitted that the said complaint has been pending for inordinately long period and the conclusion thereof has been delayed for one reason or another.

It would not be apposite for this Court to micromanage the calendar/schedule of NCDRC in the manner sought by the petitioner, and therefore, finds it untenable to grant the prayer sought in the present petition. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to request the concerned Bench to take up the aforesaid consumer complaint i.e. CC 1779/2016 on priority. 3.
