Learned APP for the State, on instructions from the IO present in the Court, submits that presently, the petitioner is no more required for further investigation.

In view of the above statement, in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/-, with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the IO/SHO of the police station concerned. However, if the need to arrest arises, the IO shall give a prior notice of three working days to the petitioner so that he may avail legal remedy available to him.

Meanwhile, the petitioner is also directed to join and cooperate in the investigation, as and when so called for by the IO/SHO in writing; that he shall not get involved in any activity which may prejudice the prosecution or the witnesses.
