W.P.(Crl.) 1204/2020 and Crl. M.A. No.10622/2020 (for interim protection) By way of the present petition, the petitioner seeks police protection and a direction that the respondents should not falsely implicate the petitioner in criminal cases or force him to leave Delhi. The petitioner also seeks action against errant police officials in that regard.

After making some submissions however, Mr. A.K. Tripathi, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present W.P. (Crl.) 1204/2020 Page of

petition, with liberty to invoke his legal remedies at the appropriate stage, in accordance with law.

The present petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed for.
