On 07.05.2025, this Court had disposed of the instant Writ Petition by passing the following directions: "1.

Learned Counsel for Respondent No.2 states that the writ petition is not maintainable because the Petitioner has already approached the court of competent jurisdiction for getting the custody of the child.

2.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that on the one hand they are not entering appearance before the court of competent jurisdiction and at the same time they are raising the bogey that the father has approached the court of competent jurisdiction for the purpose of custody of the child and the present writ petition should not be entertained.

Learned Counsel for Respondent No.2, who is present in The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 16/07/2025 at 12:51:50

Court, has now been made aware of the petition filed by the Petitioner being GP No.3/2025 pending before the Principal Judge, Family Court for the custody of the daughter. The petition is coming up for hearing on 09.07.2025. The Respondent No.2 will appear before the court of competent jurisdiction and the court of competent jurisdiction is requested to decide the case of interim custody as expeditiously as possible.

With these observations, the petition is disposed of along with pending application(s), if any.

List on 11.07.2025 to see as to whether Respondent No.2 has entered appearance before the court of competent jurisdiction or not."

Mr. Sanjay Lao, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of Respondent/State, on instructions from the Investigating Officer, apprises this Court that in compliance with the aforesaid Order dated 07.05.2025, the Respondent No. 2 has appeared before the Court of competent jurisdiction on 09.07.2025.

In view of the above and considering that the present Writ Petition has already been disposed of, no further orders are required to be passed.
