% 13.08.2024 After making some submissions, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present bail petition, with a request that the trial in the matter be expedited.

Counsel submits that of the remaining public witnesses, he only wishes to cross-examine witnesses listed at serial Nos. 7, 11 and 12 in chargesheet dated 16.08.2019; and based on his statement certain time-frame may be fixed for the learned Trial Court to complete recording the evidence of the said 03 witnesses.

In view of the above, the bail petition stands disposed-of as withdrawn, without making any observation on the merits of the matter. Furthermore, as prayed-for, the learned Trial Court is directed to record the deposition of the witnesses listed at serial Nos. 7, 11 and 12 of chargesheet dated 16.08.2019, within 03 months from the next date of hearing in the matter, which is stated to be 07.09.2024. It is also observed that the petitioner shall be at liberty to apply for bail afresh, after the evidence of the aforesaid 03 witnesses is complete. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed-of.
