Learned counsel for the petitioner states that a settlement has been arrived at between the parties and a settlement agreement in this regard is to be executed. He further submits that parties are also in the process of filing an appropriate petition seeking quashing of the subject FIR. Accordingly, learned counsel, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh in case the settlement agreement is not executed. 2.

Leave and liberty, as prayed for, are granted and the petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
