This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2.

The present leave petition has been filed by the State challenging the judgment dated 16th January, 2020, by which the Respondent has been acquitted in FIR No.664/2014 under Sections 10 and 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences and Section 376 of Indian Penal Code. After having perused the impugned judgment dated 16th January, 2020 on the grounds raised, the court is inclined to grant leave in this matter considering the fact that there are two child victims.

In view of the reasons stated in the present petition as well as submissions made by ld. Counsels for parties, the leave petition is allowed. 4.

Considering that leave has been granted and the appeal has been admitted today, let the Respondents furnish bail bonds for a sum of Rs. 10,000/- along with surety of the like amount before the Joint Registrar. 9.

List before the Joint Registrar on 27th February, 2025 for furnishing the bail bonds.

List before the Court on 21st April, 2025.
