The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR bearing no. 06/2017, under Sections 420,406,468,471 & 34 of the IPC registered with P.S. Janak Puri and all proceedings emanating therefrom, be quashed.

The present petition is predicated on a settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 (Sushil Jasra) at whose instance the FIR in question was lodged. The petitioners and respondent no.2 state that they have settled their disputes in terms of the settlement deed dated 29.08.2017. A copy of the said settlement deed is placed on record. In terms of the said settlement deed, respondent no.2 has been paid a sum of ₹8,00,000/- in full and final settlement of his claims. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and acknowledges that he has received a sum of ₹8,00,000/- and does not have any further claims against the petitioners.

Respondent no.2 also joined the petitioners' request that the FIR in
question be quashed. In view of the statements made before this Court, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition. 4.
The petitioners are present in Court and are identified by their counsel. Respondent no. 2 is also present in Court and is identified by the investigating officer.

Accordingly, the petition is allowed and FIR bearing no. 06/2017, under Sections 420,406,468,471 & 34 of the IPC registered with P.S. Janak Puri and all proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed. 6.
