Petitioners seek quashing of case FIR No. 174/2022 of PS Lahori Gate for offence under Section 406/498A/34/506/315 IPC on the ground that the complainant de facto (respondent no.2) has compromised the disputes with the petitioners.

At the outset, learned APP assisted by IO/SI Kavish Rana points out from FIR serious allegations of forcible abortion to avoid a girl child from being born as well as of molestation by father-in-law of the respondent no.2. Learned APP has also apprised that the case stands committed to Court of Sessions.
