By virtue of the present application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS), the applicant seeks extension of interim bail for a period of 12 weeks which was granted vide order dated 21.01.2026 and extended vide order dated 18.05.2026 till the next date of hearing on medical ground in Crime No. VIII/01/DZU/2024 dated 17.01.2024 registered at NCB under Sections 21/23/25/27/28/29/30 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPS Act). 2.
A fresh Status Report alongwith the Verification Report regarding the medical condition of the applicant has been handed over by the learned SSC for the NCB/ respondent. The same are taken on record. Since it is apparent therefrom that the applicant is indeed suffering from numerous ailments and since he requires further medical supervision for it, the interim bail granted vide order dated 21.01.2026 which was last extended vide order dated 18.05.2026 till today in Crime No. VIII/01/DZU/2024 dated 17.01.2024 registered at NCB under Sections 21/23/25/27/28/29/30 of the NDPS Act is further extended for a further period of two weeks on the same terms and conditions contained in the order dated 21.01.2026.

As such, the application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 5.
