The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondents to grant new electricity connection to the petitioner in his name at property bearing No. A-3/28 (ground floor), New Kondli, Mayur Vihar Phase-3, Delhi.

Counsel for the petitioner has drawn the attention of the Court to the judgment passed by the trial court on 26th May, 2023, read with the order dated 13th February, 2024, in terms of which, the petitioner has been declared to be 1/5th owner of the subject property. Even though the said judgment is in appeal, no stay has been granted by the appellate court. 3.
