The instant petition is for the following reliefs: "1. Direct the Respondents to consider the application for Citizenship in a time bound manner as specified under the provisions of the Citizenship Act 1955 and the Citizenship Rules, 2009;
2. Direct the Respondents to call for the records of the Petitioner's case and subject to failure in providing reasons for the delay, expedite the processing of the already submitted application.
3. Direct the Respondents to allow the Petitioner to visit his family and attend to family matters during the pendency of the application for Citizenship.
4. Pass such other or further order(s) as may be deemed fit and proper, and for this the Petitioner shall ever pray." 2.
The petitioner's application for grant of citizenship by naturalisation under Section 6(1) of the Citizenship Act, 1955 is pending since 09.09.2019. respondents have started taking action and a Deficiency Notice dated 13.05.2026 is issued to the petitioner.

The Deficiency Notice was not served, as according to respondents, the petitioner was residing on the address furnished in the application. The present address of the petitioner and his contact details are extracted as under:
"Address: 58/1 Kalu Sarai, Ground floor, Chaliha House, Near Hauz Khas Metro Station Gate No. 4, New Delhi - 110016. Phone No. 9810080862 and 8287976886 (whatsapp)" 4.
Henceforth, all communications be sent on the above address. The deficiency as has been pointed out by the respondents be rectified by the petitioner within a period of 20 days from today. The respondents, thereafter, will have to take the application to its logical conclusion within a period of three months from the rectification of deficiency. 5.
With the aforesaid observations, the instant petition along with pending application stands disposed of.
