This petition has been preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: "Pass an order or Writ of Mandamus or any other nature for issuance of direction upon the Competent Authority Vulnerable Witness Support Person to conclude the early Decide the vacancy of Vulnerable Witness Support Person which was vide interview held on Dated 07.08.2023 in application Vulnerable Witness Support Person by the Vulnerable Witness Deposition courtroom Monitoring Committee, North-west District, Rohini Court Complex, Delhi."

Ms. Avnish Ahlawat hands over copy of letter dated 02.08.2024 which reflects that the shortlisted candidates for the post of Vulnerable Witness Support Person were called for interaction on 30.07.2024 and assures that the process of selection shall be concluded expeditiously. The assurance given on behalf of the Respondents is accepted and taken on record.
