This application has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (in short, 'Cr.P.C.') read with Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., praying for the applicant to be released on bail in FIR No.405/2019 registered at Police Station: Janak Puri, New Delhi under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (in short, 'IPC') and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

Having perused the contents of the allegations and having heard the learned counsels for the parties, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the applicant. However, I am informed that the trial is at the fag end, with only the statement of the last witness, that is, Investigating Officer, remaining to be recorded.

The learned Trial Court is requested to expedite the conclusion of the trial and ensure that the same is concluded within a period of three months of the first listing of the case before it after this order. 4.

In case the trial is delayed further due to reasons not attributable to the applicant, the applicant shall be at liberty to revive the prayer made for being released on bail.

The application is disposed of with the above direction. 6.
