The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent/MCD to de-seal the petitioner's duly licensed meat shop, which was sealed on 28th March, 2026. It was the contention of the petitioner that the aforesaid shop was sealed without issuance of any Show Cause Notice to the petitioner.

Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent/MCD on advance notice submits that Show Cause Notices were duly issued to the petitioner and the sealing took place after inspecting the subject property. 3.
Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent/MCD submits that the subject property can be de-sealed upon the petitioner depositing a sum of Rs. 20,000/- and filing an undertaking that there shall be no violation in the W.P.(C) 6709/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that there was no violation by the petitioner and he does not have means to deposit the sum of Rs. 20,000/-.

Having heard counsel for the parties and in the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, a direction is issued to respondent/MCD to forthwith de-seal the premises of the petitioner, subject to the petitioner filing the requisite undertaking and depositing a sum of Rs. 10,000/- with respondent/MCD.

The present petition along with pending application stands disposed of in terms of above.
