Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has drawn attention of the Court to the order passed by this Court on 1st October, 2024 in W.P. (C) 1517/2018, titled as Pitam Pura Development Monitoring Society (regd.) Through Its General Secretary Sh. V.K. Sharma v. North Delhi Municipal Corporation and Ors', wherein directions were issued to respondent-MCD to remove the encroachments and to ensure that they do not re-appear again. 3.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-MCD, on advance notice, submits that the petitioner has no locus standi to file the present writ petition as the petitioner resides in FP Block, which is 2 kms away from the subject area. Even otherwise, it is submitted that respondent-MCD is strictly acting in terms of the aforesaid order and submits that there is no unauthorized encroachment in the said market. 4.

To be noted, the petitioner has not filed any photographs to show any encroachment in the said area.

Considering the aforesaid submissions made on behalf of respondentMCD, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present petition. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
