The petitioner has filed the present application, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to release the petitioner on parole for a period of thirty days. It is stated that by an order dated 11.08.2020, this court had directed the concerned authority to consider the petitioner's application for parole and communicate its decision as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within a period of ten working days from that date. However, the said order has not been complied with and the competent authority has not communicated its decision as yet.

application for parole was considered and rejected by an earlier order dated 21.08.2020 on the ground that he had jumped parole on earlier occasions. She submits that there has been some delay in communication of the decision to the petitioner but the same would be done during the course of the day.

In view of the above, the present application is dismissed. 6.
