1.
The present petition raises a grievance that the respondent / Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has not furnished a cogent response to the petitioner's Right to Information (RTI) application dated 12.11.2022 (hereinafter 'the RTI application') despite the directions contained in order dated 19.10.2023 passed in this regard by the Central Information Commission (CIC).
2.
A perusal of the RTI application reveals that the query nos.1 to 5 therein are founded on the premise that there exists a banquet hall in plot No.12, Khasra No.771, Rohini Sector-23, Karan Vihar. 3.
A perusal of the response dated 08.12.2022 to the petitioner's RTI application reveals that it has been categorically stated therein by the concerned PIO that "as per report of Area APHI no banquet hall found running during the inspection of Plot No.12, Khasra No.771, Sector-23 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Karan Vihar, Delhi".
4.
In view of the said response, no further information is required to be supplied by the respondent (MCD) to the petitioner. 5.
As far as query nos.6 to 11 are concerned, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the concerned queries have been forwarded to the AC, Narela Zone. It is assured and undertaken that the said queries shall be responded to at the earliest and the requisite information shall be provided expeditiously, and in any event, within a period of four weeks from today. 6.
The above redresses the grievance raised by the petitioner in the present petition.
7.
Consequently, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition; the same is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn.
