% 21.09.2020 Status report dated 18.09.2020 has been filed. 2.

Mr. Mohammad Sajid, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that service of respondents Nos. 3 to 6 has not been effected since process fee was not filed.

Mr. Avi Singh, learned ASC for the State submits that the police have conducted an inquiry and recorded the statements of respondents Nos. 3 and 4, i.e. parents of petitioner No. 1, who have said that eversince petitioner No. 1 left their house alongwith petitioner No. 2, she has never visited them. The parents have further said that they have never extended any threats to the petitioners; and that they further undertake that they will never extend any threat or cause any harm to the petitioners. Copies of the statements so recorded have been filed alongwith the status report and are taken on record.

The status report further says that the petitioners have also stated before the police that they have since been residing peacefully in Loni, Ghaziabad; and have not received any threat from the said respondents after the filing of the present petition. 6.

Counsel for the petitioner confirms the above position. He prays that in view of the statements made by the parents of petitioner No. 1, the present petition may be disposed of as having been satisfied. 7.

Accordingly, taking the statements made by respondents Nos. 3 and 4 to the police as filed along with the status report, on record, the present petition is disposed of as having been satisfied. 8.
