% 13.08.2020 The petitioners seek quashing of FIR No. 78/2020 dated 05.03.2020 registered at the instance of respondent No. 2 under sections 341/354/506/509/34 IPC at PS: Lajpat Nagar.

It is noticed that vidé orders dated 20.07.2020 and 25.07.2020, all 04 petitioners have been granted anticipatory bail by the learned Sessions Courts. Mr. Apoorv Agarwal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners also states that the said orders have also been complied with; and accordingly, there is no threat of arrest to the petitioners. 3.
Mr. Rajesh Mahajan, learned ASC has entered appearance on behalf of respondent No.1/State and Ms. Sugandha Aggarwal, learned W.P. (Crl.) 1226/2020 Page of
counsel has entered appearance on behalf of respondent No. 2/ complainant, on advance copy.

After making some submissions in the matter, Mr. Agarwal seeks to withdraw the present petition praying only that since petitioners Nos. 2 and 4 are senior citizens aged about 67 and 69 years respectively, they may be investigated in a manner that does not expose them to unwarranted health risk in view of the prevailing coronavirus pandemic. Mr. Agarwal suggests that the said petitioners may be investigated either at their residence or through video-conferencing, instead of summoning them to the police station.

In the circumstances, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with a direction to the Investigating Officer to conduct the investigation and other proceedings insofar as they relate to petitioners Nos. 2 and 4, either at their residence or via video-conferencing, as may be considered appropriate. This direction be communicated to the Investigating Officer through the office of Mr. Rajesh Mahajan, learned ASC appearing for the State.

The petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn. 7.
