A Writ Petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner for grant of Parole for a period of two weeks in case FIR No.185/2012 under Section 302/34 IPC and Section 25/27 Arms Act, P.S. Mangol Puri, on the ground that the Barsi of his father was scheduled for 22.05.2026.

Fresh Application No.18006/2026 has been filed. It is submitted that because the Petitioner was not able to get the Parole in time, Barsi has been scheduled for 22.06.2026 i.e. is the 13th month. 3.

Learned Standing Counsel objects to the grant of Parole. Submissions heard.

In view of the submissions made, the Parole is granted to the Applicant/ Petitioner for fifteen days from 20.06.2026 on account of the circumstances stated in the Application, on the following terms : The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. i. The Petitioner shall furnish a personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety of the like amount, to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent.

ii. The Petitioner shall report to the SHO of the local area once a week on every Sunday between 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM during the period of Parole.

iii. The Petitioner shall furnish a telephone/mobile number to the Jail Superintendent as well as SHO of local police station, on which he can he contacted, if required. The said telephone number shall be kept active and operational at all the times by the Petitioner.

iv. The Petitioner shall ordinarily reside at the address mentioned in the Petition.

v. Immediately upon the expiry of period of Parole, the Petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent. vi.

The period of fifteen days' Parole shall be counted from the day when the Petitioner is released from jail. 5.

The Writ Petition is allowed and stands disposed of accordingly.
